Hepatitis E
Viral hepatitis type E (HE) is a self-limiting infectious disease that is mainly transmitted through the digestive tract. It is one of the legal B-type infectious diseases in China. Similar to hepatitis A (hepatitis A), the high mortality rate of hepatitis E in pregnant women is characteristic of this type of hepatitis, and the incidence of hepatitis E in children is low. Its epidemic characteristics are also similar to hepatitis A, transmitted through the fecal-oral route, and have obvious seasonality. It is more common after the rainy season or flood.
