Paralysis
Paralysis is a reduction or loss of voluntary motor function and is a common symptom of the nervous system. Paralysis is caused by pathological changes in the upper and lower motor neurons, pyramidal tracts, and peripheral nerves. The muscle weakness caused by the disease of the muscle itself will be described separately.
