Calcaneal fracture
Heel fractures are mainly manifested by severe pain in the heel, obvious swelling and bruising, inability to walk on the heel, and calcaneal tenderness. Adults with this disease are more common, often falling or being crushed to cause injuries. Frequently accompanied by spinal fractures, pelvic fractures, head, chest, and abdominal injuries, do not make mistakes at first diagnosis. The calcaneus is cancellous, and the blood supply is relatively abundant, and bone nonunion is rare. However, if the fracture line enters the articular surface or the reduction is not good, post-traumatic arthritis and calcaneal pain are common.
