Serum internal factor blocking antibody test
The serum internal factor blocking antibody test uses the RIA method to detect the presence of serum internal factor blocking antibodies. The internal factor blocking antibodies can block the binding of internal factors to vitamin B12 and affect the absorption of vitamin B12. The detection rate of block antibody (IFBA) in the serum of patients with malignant anemia is more than 50%, which can be used as one of the screening methods for malignant anemia.
