Affective mood disorder
Also known as affective disorders and mood disorders. Previously known as affective psychoses. It is a group of mental disorders characterized by significant and sustained rises or declines in emotions, often accompanied by corresponding changes in thinking and behavior. The manifestations of affective disorder have great variation, the lighter one can be a response to a negative life event, and the severe one can become a severe recurrent or even a disabling disorder. Severe conditions may appear psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions. Often recurrent, most can be relieved, and a few residual symptoms may become chronic. The first onset of this type of mental disorder is between 16 and 30 years old. Clinically, it can be divided into 4 types: depressive episode, manic episode, bipolar disorder and persistent mood disorder.
