Small bowel leiomyosarcoma
Small bowel leiomyosarcoma is a malignant tumor that originates from the small intestinal wall muscle layer, submucosal muscle layer, and intestinal wall vascular smooth muscle. In small intestinal nonleiomyomas, the ratio of leiomyosarcoma to leiomyoma is 2 to 4: 1, which occurs in the jejunum, followed by the ileum and duodenum.
