Barrett's esophagus

Barrett's esophagus refers to a pathological phenomenon in which the stratified squamous epithelium in the lower esophagus is replaced by a single layer of columnar epithelium. There may be no special symptoms in itself, and the corresponding reflux symptoms will only appear when esophagitis, ulcers, and cancer are present, and some Barrett epithelium is prone to cancer.
