Ectropia

Esotropia is mostly esotropia. Esotropia is commonly known as "cross-eying" and is the most common form of strabismus. The symptom is that the eyes are skewed toward the nose. Some children are born with this condition, but most esotropia does not appear until about two to three years old. Some cases can be corrected with proper glasses, because the glasses can reduce esotropia caused by excessive focus adjustment; however, after some glasses and covering treatment, ocular muscle surgery is still necessary.
