Pharyngeal cheek burn
Chemical burns of the esophagus, also known as acute corrosive esophagitis, are inflammations caused by severe damage to the esophagus caused by swallowing strong acids, alkalis and other chemical corrosive agents. Physical examination first revealed burns in the pharynx. The type, concentration and quantity of corrosives are closely related to the severity of esophagitis.
