Indocyanine green test
The indocyanine green (IGG) test is a quantitative liver function test that mainly reflects liver blood flow, and is a more sensitive indicator for the diagnosis of cirrhosis in the compensatory stage. More than 90% of ICG can be bound by albumin in blood after intravenous injection, so IGG can be injected before blood is drawn and its concentration can be measured.
