High levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum

Aspartate aminotransferase, also known as aspartate aminotransferase, English abbreviation AST, is a type of liver function. Transaminase is an indispensable "catalyst" in human metabolism and is mainly found in liver cells. When liver cells are inflamed, necrotic, poisoned, etc., causing damage to liver cells, transaminase will be released into the blood, which will increase serum transaminase.
