Solar urticaria
Solar urticaria refers to local allergic reactions, erythema and small wind masses with itching after seconds to minutes of skin exposure to sunlight or artificial light. It usually subsides after a few minutes to an hour, but can also last for a long time, especially those caused by visible light. Some patients develop tolerance after repeated exposures. Women are more common.
