Compensatory emphysema of lower lung
Compensatory emphysema is a normal physiological process, because the total area of the lung is reduced after partial removal of the lung. In order to ensure the oxygen demand of the body, the other side of the lung will undergo a modern compensatory expansion. The formation of compensatory emphysema, generally compensatory emphysema is asymptomatic. However, if the lungs lose this function, it is a non-compensatory emphysema.
