Thyroid cancer
Thyroid cancer (thyroid carcinoma) is the most common malignant tumor of the thyroid gland. It is a malignant tumor derived from thyroid epithelial cells. Most thyroid cancers originate from follicular epithelial cells. Follicular adenocarcinoma (20%), but the prognosis is good; Follicular adenocarcinoma tumors grow faster, are moderately malignant, and are prone to blood metastasis; undifferentiated cancer has a poor prognosis, with an average survival time of 3-6 month. Papillary carcinoma is more common in thyroid cancer.
