Painful femoral swelling
When the iliac and femoral vein thrombosis extensively involves the intramuscular venous plexus, the iliac femoral vein and its collaterals are all blocked by thrombus, and the lower limbs are highly edema. Because of severe venous reflux disorders and severe congestion, the clinical manifestations are severe pain, and the skin of the affected limb is purple, which is called painful femoral bruising.
