Avulsion fracture
Avulsion fractures: Fractures of the epicondyle of the humerus are common in sports injuries such as flat falls or throws. When the forearm is extended and abducted during the fall, when the forearm flexor muscles are violently contracted, the humerus epicondyle is pulled by the flexor muscle group, causing avulsion fracture.
