Horizontal palm folds (through hands) means that the hands are short and thick, and the width of the palm is only one horizontal line, which is manifested by horizontal palm folds (through hands) and other characteristic skin texture changes, such as short little fingers and internal flexion. Single pleats (that is, the fifth finger is two knots). It is one of the symptoms of Down syndrome (Down'ssyndrome), also known as trisomy 21.
