Cytomegalovirus uveitis
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a herpes virus that does not normally cause disease in people with normal immune function, and can cause gastrointestinal disease, central nervous system disease, lung disease, and retinitis in people with suppressed immune function. Among them, retinitis is the most common disease and the most common cause of opportunistic infection and blindness in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.
