Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia in children
Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia is pneumonia caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Most of this disease is complicated by staphylococcal sepsis. It is one of the common bacterial pneumonias in pediatrics. It is prone to complications. More common in young infants and newborns, older children can also occur. Onset can occur throughout the year, mostly in winter and spring. Treatment is also difficult due to the emergence of resistant strains.
