Pediatric tics
Pediatric tics, also known as habitual spasm syndrome, tic syndrome, transient tic disorder, etc., is a muscle tic disorder that occurs in childhood. The incidence is high, ranging from 1% to 7%, and 4% to 23% have been reported. More common in preschool and early school children. Men are clearly dominant, with a male to female ratio of 3: 1 to 4: 1. Most were benign and there were also refractory patients.
