Impaired vibration and position in the lower limbs

One of the main symptoms of spinal syphilis is the disappearance of knee reflexes and ankle reflexes, impaired vibratory and positional sensations in the lower limbs, and positive dysfunction with closed eyes. Spinal syphilis (myelosyphilis) is an important type of central nervous system syphilis, including tabes dorsalis, spinal meningovascular syphilis, and syphilitic myelitis. Syphilitic myelitis often involves the meninges due to lesions, and is also called syphilitic meningomyelitis.
