Uveitis caused by human immunodeficiency virus
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a hauman T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV), also known as HTLV-Ⅲ, which can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) syndrome, AIDS). This virus selectively destroys CD4 cells (helper / inducible lymphocytes), reduces host resistance, and causes opportunistic infections, tumors, and various eye diseases, including cytomegalovirus-induced retinitis and non-infectious diseases. Retinal vascular disease is a common eye change.
