Flutter tremor
Flutter-like tremor is caused by both basal ganglia lesions and cerebellar ataxia. This kind of tremor is thick and the rhythm is slightly slow. It is usually also called sexual. It involves the upper and lower limbs, and the muscle tension can vary. When the patient flatly extended his fingers and wrist joint, the wrist joint suddenly flexed, and then quickly straightened, coupled with tremor and hyperactivity, which resembled bird wings flapping, so it was called flutter-like tremor.
