Gastrocnemius spasm

Gastrocnemius spasm, or "calf cramps." It is the most common type of painful spasms. It is characterized by a sudden onset of tonic pain spasms of gastrocnemius muscles. The pain and twist are painful and last for tens of seconds to several minutes or longer.
