Cerebrospinal membrane infiltration

Epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis is short for meningitis. It is purulent meningitis caused by meningococcus. The clinical manifestations are meningeal irritation such as fever, headache, vomiting, skin and mucous membrane petechiae, petechiae and neck stiffness. The disease was described in 1805 by the Swiss Vieusseaux. 1887 Weichselbaum isolated meningococcus from cerebrospinal fluid. In 1896, China's Li Tao formally reported in Wuchang.
