Brain stem lesions

The brainstem consists of three parts: the medulla oblongata, the pontine, and the midbrain. Any lesions (such as tumors, injuries, and abnormal blood vessels) in any part of the brainstem are collectively referred to as brainstem lesions. Whether brainstem lesions can be cured or appropriately improved needs to be comprehensively considered according to the specific location of the patient's lesions, clinical symptoms, and treatment effects, and cannot be generalized.
