Diffuse steatosis
Myocardial steatosis is often the result of severe anemia, hypoxia, or infection. Fatty vacuoles appear in steatotic cardiomyocytes and are beaded. The naked eye can be seen under the endocardium, especially in the papillary muscles, in rows of yellow stripes and dark red normal myocardium, such as tiger skin, so it is called "Tabby Heart". However, in cases of severe infection or poisoning, myocardial diffuse steatosis is often caused. All myocardium became turbid and grayish-yellow, with no markings.
