Lyme disease
Lyme disease is a natural epidemic disease caused by Borrelia burgdorferi, also known as Lyme borreliosis. The early stages of the disease are often characterized by chronic migratory erythema. The clinical manifestations are mainly multiple system and multiple organ damage such as skin, heart, nerves and joints. In 1975, the disease was named in a large number of children in Lyme, Connecticut, USA.
