Lymph node congestion
Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome (MCLS), also known as Kawasaki disease, was first reported by Kawasaki of the Japanese Red Cross Center in 1967, so it is also called Kawasaki syndrome. This syndrome occurs in children with unknown etiology and is an independent acute infectious disease. The main clinical manifestations are persistent fever, conjunctival congestion, flushing and chapped lips, hard redness and swelling of the hands and feet, polymorphic rash of the whole body, and cervical lymphadenopathy. Some patients develop arthritis and cardiovascular disease after the acute phase, and severe cases may die due to myocardial infarction.
