Binocular upper vision disorder
Pseudo-Parinaud syndrome is the most characteristic manifestation of nuclear damage. Complete oculomotor nerve palsy on the side of the lesion is accompanied by contralateral upper vision disorder. Contralateral upper vision is caused by destruction of the rectus nucleus on the side of the lesion.
