Infantile cortical hyperplasia
Infantile cortical hyperostosis, also known as Caffey's disease, is a disease that invades bones and muscle fascia during infancy. It is characterized by long tubular bones and flat bones with subperiosteal new bone formation, and swelling and pain in the affected area. . The age of onset was 6 months ago, and the majority were men. However, it has been recently reported that this disease can occur in children as young as 11 years.
