Goiter
The thyroid is the body's largest endocrine gland. It is divided into left and right leaves, connected in the middle (called the isthmus), and it is "H" shaped, about 20-30 grams. Goiter is a common clinical sign, which may be physiological or pathological. It must be analyzed and identified in detail to avoid misdiagnosis or misdiagnosis. It must also be distinguished from other masses in the neck. It should be noted that the size of the thyroid volume is not directly related to its function. Goiter does not necessarily indicate an increase in thyroid function, and a small thyroid does not rule out its hyperfunction. Simple goiter
