Breathing sound diminished
Breathing sounds are mainly alveolar breathing sounds. The weakening or disappearing of alveolar breathing sounds is related to the decrease of air flow in the alveoli or the slowing of the air velocity into the lungs and the impediment of breathing sound conduction. It can occur locally, unilaterally, or bilaterally.
