Toddler rash
Exanthema subitum, also known as roseola infantum and burns, is an acute eruptive infectious disease common in infants caused by human herpes virus type 6 and 7 infection. The clinical features are high fever for 3 to 4 days, and then sudden fever and rash appear. Generally, the endothelial rash begins to resolve within a few hours, all disappear within 2 to 3 days, without pigmentation and peeling. The prognosis is good and all can heal themselves.
