Pulmonary hypertrophy
Pulmonary hypertrophy refers to symptoms of swelling, hypertrophy, and pain in some parts of the body due to lung disease. Common pulmonary hypertrophic diseases are pulmonary hypertrophic osteoarthritis. Pulmonary hypertrophic osteoarthropathy is a clinical imaging syndrome that includes clubbing fingers (toes), long periostitis, and arthritis, and most of them are related to lung disease. It is reported in the literature that more than 70% are secondary to peripheral lung cancer. Others such as tuberculosis, lung abscess, pneumonia, pleurisy, and mediastinal tumors can cause it.
