Diffuse pulmonary dysfunction

The amount of dispersion depends on the gas partial pressure difference, diffusion area, distance, time, molecular weight of the gas and its solubility in the dispersion medium. Emphysema and other lung tissue diseases, diffuse pulmonary interstitial fibrosis and other diseases can cause reduced diffuse function. Clinically, when diffuse dysfunction occurs in lung lesions, there is often a significant imbalance in ventilation / blood flow at the same time, and its consequences all lead to hypoxia.
