Gray matter shift
Gray matter heterotopia (GMH) refers to a congenital malformation during the development of the embryonic cerebral cortex during which neuroblasts are blocked during migration and accumulate between the epithelium and surface cortex. In children with epilepsy, the disease can be present alone or with deformities of the nervous system or other systems.
