Rhabdomyosarcoma
Rhabdomyosarcoma (rhabdomyosarcoma) is a malignant tumor that arises from embryonic mesenchymal tissue. Incidence rate is second to malignant fibrous histiocytoma and liposarcoma, ranking third in soft tissue sarcoma. Rhabdomyosarcoma accounts for 15% of solid tumors in children and 50% of soft tissue sarcomas. The diversity of clinical manifestations, the multiplicity of pathological changes, and the difference in the location of the disease make rhabdomyosarcoma the most complicated type of pediatric tumor. Embryo type and acinar type are more common in children and young people. Polymorphous cell types are common in middle age and above. More men than women. Head and neck and limbs are common, and genitourinary is also common.
