Spastic hypertrophy of the pubic rectum
Puborectalis syndrome (puborectalis syndrome) is a defecation disorder characterized by spastic hypertrophy of the pubic rectum muscles, resulting in obstruction at the outlet of the pelvic floor. Histological changes are characterized by pubic rectal muscle fibrous hypertrophy.
