Chloasma
Melasma, also known as liver spot, is a common acquired hyperpigmented skin disease that occurs on the face. It occurs in the sun and worsens after sun exposure. More common among young women. The course is chronic and there are no obvious symptoms. The disease is seasonal, with heavy summers and light winters. The average optical density value of the pigment along the area is greater than 20% of the average optical density value of the face.
