Postpartum uterine contraction

Postpartum uterine contraction: The shrinkage of uterine volume and the reduction of lochia to disappearance are indicators of uterine recovery. Most uterine contractions are normal; however, if you can feel something in the lower abdomen, it may be that the uterine contraction is bad. Sometimes the uterine volume is not reduced because of the presence of long uterine fibroids. These all need to go to the hospital for examination. If the uterine contraction is really bad, the main danger is that it will cause major postpartum hemorrhage. This is the place that really needs attention.
