Nose and throat burning sensation

A burning sensation in the nose and throat is one of the symptoms of acute nasopharyngitis. Acute nasopharyngitis is an acute inflammation of the entire nasopharyngeal mucosa, submucosa, and lymphoid tissues, mainly occurring in the pharyngeal tonsils. Pre-symptoms of upper respiratory infections are more common in adults and older children.
