Ulcerative perforation
Gastric and duodenal ulcers develop deeper and can penetrate the stomach or duodenal wall. They are a common complication of ulcer disease, but they are less than half of the bleeding, accounting for about 20% to 30% of hospitalized patients with ulcer disease.
