Sacral duct syndrome
Metatarsal tunnel syndrome, also known as tarsal tunnel syndrome or ankle tunnel syndrome, refers to a series of clinical causes caused by the tibial nerve being trapped during the travel through the malleolus to the sole of the foot through the medial malleolus. Symptoms and signs were first reported by Keck in 1962. The disease is more common in young adults, engaged in manual labor or long-distance runners.
