Thoracotomy
Thoracoplasty is a compression therapy that surgically removes part of the ribs, causes the chest wall of the affected side to collapse, compresses the diseased lung, or compresses the residual cavity, and weakens the breathing intensity, thereby promoting the improvement of the disease. There are two types of thoracoplasty: one that does not enter the thoracic cavity and retains the parietal pleura, and the other is intrapleural thoracoplasty, which enters the thoracic cavity and cuts or removes the parietal pleura.
