Surgery for Hysteria
In addition to snoring, most snoring patients also have different degrees of suffocation, the so-called obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, which appears a series of hypoxic symptoms, is prone to secondary hypertension and arrhythmia, and is potentially fatal. It is very dangerous to health. Hysteria is mainly caused by pharyngeal obstruction. The so-called pharyngeal obstruction refers to the narrow left and right diameters of the pharyngeal isthmus caused by physiological abnormalities in the oropharynx. The shortening of the anterior and posterior diameter of the pharyngeal sail space or the hypertrophy of the tongue base makes the upper and lower diameters of the pharyngeal isthmus smaller. Physiological abnormality refers to the normal tissue structure and dysfunction, such as long soft palate, excessive drooping uvula, wide posterior pharyngeal column, submucosal fat deposits in the pharynx wall, soft palate relaxation, and pharyngeal lymphatic hypertrophy (Figure 1) .
