Insulinoma resection
Insulinoma, also known as β-cell tumor, is an endogenous hyperinsulinemia, which is the most common type of islet cell tumor in the clinic. Most of them are benign, 10% to 16% are malignant, and the metastasis rate can reach 10% to 15% when diagnosed. Clinical manifestations are hyperinsulinemia or hypoglycemia syndrome. Surgical removal of benign tumors can be cured. 80% to 90% of hypoglycemia symptoms can disappear after surgery, and the mortality rate is 6% to 9%.
