Pulmonary artery stenosis
Pulmonary arterial stenosis refers to the narrowing of the right ventricular funnel, pulmonary valve, or main trunk of the pulmonary artery and its branches. It can exist alone or as a component of other heart and visceral deformities such as tetralogy of Fallot. Its incidence rate is about 10% of congenital heart disease. Pulmonary valve stenosis is the most common stenosis of the pulmonary artery, accounting for about 90%, followed by stenosis of the funnel, and narrowing of the arterial trunk and its branches.
