Bridge penetrating keratoplasty
1. Herpes simplex keratitis during active phase or purulent corneal infection, drug treatment is not effective, have to undergo penetrating corneal transplantation. 2. Large corneal perforation or corneal fistula, no anterior chamber before surgery. 3. Some cases where the implant bed is significantly thicker than the implant caused by bullous keratopathy and endothelial dysfunction can reduce the complications of post-implant membrane, iris or vitreous adhesion to the implant and improve the transparency of the implant.
