Expansion hole

The dilated pore was first reported by Winer in 1954. Occurs on the face, usually single, with dilated holes or large acne-like appearance, without induration. Histopathology: The hair follicle funnel was significantly enlarged, the epidermis lined by the opening was atrophied, but the epidermis lined in the deeper part of the capsule cavity was hypertrophic, and showed many epidermal processes and irregular hyperplasia extending into the surrounding stroma. Surgery or electrocautery.
